Meeting was called to order at 6:35 PM at 918 Benjamin NE, Grand Rapids.
Meeting was opened with the U.S. Pledge of Allegiance and Invocation.

Special Agenda

Constitution for Retirees Chapter. Motion made at the June General Membership Meeting to approve proposed constitution. The proposed constitution for the retiree chapter was posted 15 days prior to the special meeting per the local constitution of the WMAL. Discussion. Carried.

Motion by Scutt to call for the question. 2nd-Ray Novakoski. Carried.

Contingency fund transfer. Motion made at the June General Membership Meeting to transfer $10,000 from the contingency fund to the general fund to cover expenses for the national convention. A 2/3 vote is needed to carry this motion. Discussion. President yields chair to secretary. Secretary yields chair to president. President yields chair to secretary. Motion by Don Kramer to call for the question. 2nd-Scutt. Carried. Main motion Defeated. In favor-18 Opposed-32.

Meeting adjourned at 7:30 PM.
